Jesus Is Working (Even When I Wait Until the Last Minute)

“Jesus Is Working on Multiple Orders” Christmas Eve Faith Reflection Screenshot

I’ll be honest: I waited until Christmas Eve to finish most of my shopping. This order? The very last gift on my list. As I watched the screen update, I couldn’t help but smile at the words in front of me: “Jesus is working on multiple orders.”

What felt like a small, almost humorous moment became a quiet reminder to my heart.

Even when I procrastinate.
Even when I’m rushed.
Even when I feel behind or unprepared.

Jesus is still working.

Not just on my grocery order, but on the things I’ve placed in His hands. The prayers I whispered weeks ago. The worries I thought I should have handled better. The moments I waited too long to act.

Scripture reminds us, “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion” (Philippians 1:6). My timeline may be tight, but God’s timing is never rushed. He’s never overwhelmed by “multiple orders.” He’s steady, intentional, and faithful.

This Christmas Eve, I’m choosing to rest in that truth. The gift may arrive just in time, but grace always does.
